Writing for the Web may be as straightforward as writing for print -- or as complex as creating a multimedia script. I've had the opportunity to produce Web content for a variety of organizations, including The National Science Foundation, Scholastic, Inc., State Farm, and Disney/Discovery. In addition, many of the articles I've written for print sources have been reproduced on the Web. To find links to articles and newsletters on the Web, click on this link to the Articles page of my site. Blogs, Web 2.0 Marketing, and Online Content As the About.com Guide to Autism, I research and write hundreds of articles, blog entries and newsletters and manage a lively forum on the subject of autism spectrum disorders. The site receives approximately 500,000 page views per month. As the Green Home Examiner, I research and write about all things domestic and "green," from insulation to floor decor to kitchen appliances. At TeachingTommy.com, I've chronicled the first years of homeschooling our 13-year-old with high functioning autism. I also reflect on unique learning styles, homeschooling products, and the world of public and home education. At Tonic.com, a "good news" site, I've written hundreds of science blogs as well as full length features on the good things going on all around us. In addition writing blogs and articles for to these sites, I develop custom content for museums, federal agencies, cultural institutions, and many other clients. |
