communications, and physical skills through sports, science, nature, and
drama?
If so, Camp Outlook may be for you!
Camp
Outlook, a full day summer program for children with
social/communications delays, is offered each summer at YMCA's in the
Philadelphia area. An inclusive program offered as part of the
YMCA's typical summer camp, the Philadelphia-based Camp Outlook is a
model for similar camp programs at Y's across the United States.

Features: Ages:
Post Kindergarten through post Fifth-grade (6-12)
Group Size: No more than 12
children/group.
Dates:
Late June through early August
Times:
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Cost:
$250/week for full YMCA
members; $275/week for "program" members
Program: Inclusion with same-age typical
peers each morning with
approximately 1:3 support.
Separate free and instructional swim every day.
Separate afternoon activities include therapeutic recreation, drama,
science, art.
Weekly field trips with typical peers
Staff:
Camp Outlook staff includes a Program Director/Lead Counselor with
specific
autism experience as well as college/grad students with special needs
and/or
